Caraustar Packaging Order Display System

Caraustar serves many major companies with packaging for their products. The materials they make packaging for from golf balls to batteries to candy boxes and much more. In order to keep up with what current orders are placed with which factories, a report system was built to gather this data and display it over the Internet.

With multiple factories at Caraustar, and multiple customers, each with multiple plants, a system which would display the information about which customer plants have ordered from which Caraustar plants was developed. Each customer can log in and see their specific reports at any given time during the day, updates to the information are made daily.

Since it's inception, the site has grown to encompass other areas of interface with the customer. Some of these areas include:

• Allowing customers to drill down line items in their reports to see the specific details.
• Administration for the system has also expanded to allow different users access to different customer information based on Caraustar's needs.

• Demand Reporting for products so that the Customer and Sales Representatives can keep track of stock supplies.
